Destination Moon with Layer Marney Tower

Date/Time
Date(s) - 01/09/2019
11:00am - 5:00pm

Location
Layer Marney Tower

Come join us at Layer Marney Tower to celebrate 50 years since the Apollo Moon landing.

There will be two lectures on the Apollo Mission and NEAS Honorary President Andy Green will be there with his planetarium dome with a film about the moon landings and a night sky tour  (three shows during the day)

The moon will be visible during the day so we will have some telescopes to look at that and we will also have our solar scopes so to view the sun safely (please don’t try this at home)   We may be able to see solar flares.   Come and search for other planets; Venus, Mercury and Mars.

This is a ticketed event run by Layer Marney Tower
