DESCRIPTION:Solar Weather: The Sun and the Earth\n\nAbout this month’s speaker\nOur speaker this month is Leo Jenner\nLeo Jenner has spent most of his life in Essex, having been to school at CRGS in Colchester.\nHe then went on to study physics at University College London.\nHe spent a year down a mine in the USA operating the equipment chasing neutrinos and spent two years in CERN trying to create a black hole.\n—-\nAnyone is welcome – beginner or expert – and there is no need to pre-book. A small charge applies to help us cover costs (typically £3 for non-members; £2 for NEAS members; U16s free).
